These photos of Emily and I were taken about 9 years apart. The picture of us when we were younger was taken around 3rd grade. Oh how the times have changed!

Levitation Photo

This is my levitation photo. I had Mikayla stand on a stool in this pose as well as took a photo of a background of the football field. I then photoshopped the two photos together to make it look like she is levitating.

Monochromatic picture

For my monochromatic picture, I put a fee dandelions on a yellow stripe painted in the parking lot. I really like the way it turned out and I think it looks really pretty!

Scribble Pen project

For the scribble pen object, I did a lion. I really like the way it turned out and I think I shaded it really well. It is actually kind of hard to share with pen because it is harder to get the fading sort of effect with pen.

Watercolor blending project

I did rose flowers with a blue background. I tried to pick color combinations that would blend well together and possibly make another color when blended suck as yellow and blue would blend together to make green. The multi colored flower was just the colors pink, yellow and blue and it make several different colors.

Combination project

I did a play on word of horse fly for my combination project and did a fly body with a horse head. I really like the way it turned out.

Faces in places

This is a shape toy from my work. I thought it looked liked a faces with 2 eyes and a mouth.

Minimalism

For minimalism, I took this picture of the grass on a morning that was kind of chilly. If you look close enough at the grass, you can see some frost that formed on the grass.

Something in Flight

I took a picture of birds that were in flight after I drove by them.

Leading lines

This is a picture of the tile in my bathroom. The areas where the grout is made diagonal lines going multiple ways.

Light rays

For light rays, I just held my phone up to the sun and it created light rays going horizontally.

Map Project

For the map Project, I did an underwater scene. I found the rocks, coral, jellyfish, a Nemo fish, a dory fish, and one other fish.

Evil queen

I made a plaster face and painted it. I used some eyeshadow and fake eyelashes as well as painted the eye red to give it an evil look. I made the headpiece out of a tool type of material as well as some beading.

Winter photo

This winter photo is a picture of my brother sledding at spellerberg park by the midco aquatic center.

Forced Perspective Picture

For my forced perspective photo, I put out my hand in front of the tree to make it look like I was grabbing onto it.

Shadow Picture

I made a heart out of Legos to make up the shadow from the light. It was a little difficult to build the structure as the Legos aren't very stable.

Realistic Drawing

This is my realistic Drawing. It is supposed to be a picture of my dog surrounded by grass. It didn't turn out as realistic as I wanted or though it to be.

Framing picture

For my framing picture, I took a picture of my tree between the the bars on my deck. The bars frame around the tree.

Reflection Picture

This is my reflection picture. You can see the reflection of the picture on the wall in the floor a little bit.

Metaphor Challenge

My metaphor is an elephant in the room. I drew a big elephant in a room and made smaller furniture to make it look like the elephant was taking up a lot of space.

Clay Stamp Bowl

For my clay stamp bowl, I used some a stamp plate on both sides and painted the inside a light color then the outside a darker color.

Water color silhouette

For my water color silhouette, I did a bear with the norther lights inside of it. It was kind of tricky to get the white in there for the moon and it's reflection as I had to use an exacto knife to peel away a small layer of the paper bcz I kept peeling away from so much water and being soggy. It kind of reminds me of the movie brother bear.

Pet

This is my dog Sammy. I have had him for about 10 to 11 years and he is a Yorkshire Terrier. He is one of my best friends and love him very much. He has a cataract in his right eye.

Texture

This picture I took is just a close up of a bath towel. I thought it would look kind of cool with the little towel fabric hairs.

Black and White

This is a picture I took a long time ago while I was camping. I made the shape of a heart out of some rocks and thought it looked pretty after I turned it black and white.

Love

This picture of my great grandparents is what I like about lovemaking they are a happy couple and have been together for quite a while which shows that they really love each other.

Print making

For print making, I did giraffes. I did three layers of colors. So, there are four combinations of three different colors.

Italian Mosaic

I wanted to kind of stick to a geometric square kind of theme. I made squares in the corners with multiple tiles as well as placed one big one in the middle. I also used square tiles throughout the mosaic.
