Silhouette

This is a silhouette of my dog. He was sitting on the top of our couch in front of the window.

Ripped Paper Project

For the ripped Paper Project I did a panda Bear peaking out of the corner of my project. It was  kind of hard to find the colors I needed in the magazines and I used sheet music for the pandas white fur.

Texture box

For my texture how, I painted the outside like a Christmas tree. On the inside I have fake trees and snow with bead to imitate a Christmas/winter scene.

Choice project

This is my choice project. I decided to do a two canvas painting of Toy Story characters. This took me a very long time to do and is pretty detailed if u ask me. I am happy with the way it turned out!

Clay cutout

For my clay cutout I made a bowl and cut out circles around the sides and made a flower with some abstract designs on the inside. I painted the inside of lines and flowers with a darker color and the rest with a lighter color.

Lights

These are the lights from a Christmas tree. Christmas lights are one of my favorite things to look at especially when they are on people's houses. We love to drive around and look at everyone's lights.

Tradition

This is our yearly tradition for Christmas. We put up our Christmas tree. This is actually my aunts which I usually help put up every year anyways but it's still one of our family traditions.

Winding path

This is my winding path. It is a sidewalk that takes a sharp turn around the corner to the front of the house.

Everyday items

For my everyday item, I took a picture of some hand soap. I use this almost everyday to wash my hands to help keep myself clean.

Signage

These are a few signs we have hanging in our garage. We are big NASCAR fans so we have quite a few of these hanging up.

Silhouette

This is my silhouette. It is a silhouette of a deer that is painted on pieces of wood in our living room.

Unique self portrait

This is my unique self portrait. I took a picture of myself push up against a piece of wet glass that is part of my front door.

School days

These are just a few of the things I use in a normal school day! A computer for homework and notes, a planner so I know what I need to do, homework, and a folder to put everything into.

Foreshortening project

For my foreshortening project, I made spiderman with his hand held out about to shoot out his web which is the closest part of the picture. I made spiderman with oil pastels and chalk and airbrushed the background.

Hidden animal project

I first decided to hide the owl in a tree but when that didn't work I decided to try and hide it even more by painting a butterfly with "eyes" on the wings to help hide the owls eyes. When that didn't work I painted some yellowish-orange leaves to help hide the butterfly.

Hot glue project

For my hot glue project I used a canvas and made different designs with the hot glue. I then made a chevron design with paint so that it distracts from the other designs of the hot glue so they are kind of hidden and vice versa.

Vertical lines picture

For my vertical lines picture, I just took a picture of the railing rods that are on my deck outside.

Uncooked vegetables

For my uncooked vegetables picture I took a picture of a bag of carrots that came out of my fridge. Carrots are one of my favorite vegetables!

Horizontal lines picture

For my horizontal lines picture I decided to take a picture of my stars in my house. Each stair make up horizontal lines.

Toys picture

These are a couple of toys that my brother likes to play with. I got him the big Tonka truck for a Christmas gift last year.

Halloween challenge

For my Halloween challenge I had to create a savage princess of the mountains. I airbrushed a gloomy sky and moon. I also made a silhouette of the mountains and the princess. I added a crown and made the princess' dress torn on the bottom to make her look more "savage".

Cyanotype

For my cyanotype project, I got a separate brush for each object in the picture and enlarged it to make the trees, animals, sun, and clouds. The grass I just brush along the bottom of the page. I was going for a more safari type of theme.

Landscape Photo

This is the landscape that I see when I walk out onto my porch at my house. I see a field and trees and it is especially pretty when the sun is setting. But that is all going to change when they start building houses in this spot.

Feet Photo

These feet are from my dog. He is a Yorkshire Terrier named Sammy that is 10 years old.

Melted Crayon Project

This is my melted Crayon project. I decided to melt chunks of crayon for the background and kind of blend them together for a tie-dye look. I then drew and painted the girl holding a bubble want and splattered white crayon for the bubbles.

Shutter Speed Pictures

1/640 - ISO 100

1/320 - ISO 100

1/100 - ISO 100

1/40 - ISO 100

1/15 - ISO 100

2. As the shutter speed became less and less for each picture I noticed that the splash of the water would become smaller and smaller since the shutter speed was slower.

3. I noticed with the camera that when the shutter speed became less and less it took longer for the camera to take the picture.

Aperature Pictures

F 3.5

F 6.3

F 10

F 16

F 22

2. As the F-stop got higher and higher the pictures would go from very focused to a little blurry by the end. Each time the picture would get a little blurrier.

3. I noticed that with the camera, the higher the F-stop, the longer it took for it to take the picture and the longer it took for the camera to go from the black screen to the picture.

Light Painting Picture

1. With this process I learned that you have to move pretty quickly with the light in order to get the picture/word you are looking for.
2. It was pretty easy once I got the hang of it and it was also fun.
3. I like that I can actually read it and it turned out the way I wanted. I spelled the word love.

Water Marble Quote

This is my water marble quote project. I decided to try my water marble with spray paint and water. I think it turned out great! I decided that since the water marble came out so colorful and vibrant that I would come up with a quote about color. My quote is "Be A Pop of Color in A World of Black and White".

ISO photos

Speed 1/100
ISO 100

ISO 400

ISO 800

ISO 1600

ISO 3200

I noticed with this set of pictures with the 1/100 speed that the pictures would become lighter and lighter as well as less vibrant with each picture taken at a higher ISO.

Speed 1/15

ISO 3200

ISO 1600

ISO 800

ISO 400

\
ISO 100

I noticed that with this set of pictures with the 1/15 speed that as the ISO got lower and lower the picture's lighting didn't change quite as much as the pictures with the higher speed did.
